A tourist from the United States (US) named Edward (51) was found dead at Bingin Beach, Pecatu Village, South Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali.

The victim's position was found on the beach of rock reefs and not far from a cliff as high as 20 meters.

Head of the Denpasar Search and Rescue Office I Nyoman Sidakarya said the information on the discovery of the American Caucasian's body was tetrima at 09.30 WITA from Polair Nusa Dua.

"In response to the report, nine personnel were dispatched from the Denpasar Search and Rescue Office. The victim was a man on behalf of Edward, 51, from America," said Sidakarya, Wednesday, August 14.

At around 11.35 WITA, the victim was successfully evacuated and taken to Prof. Ngoerah Hospital, Denpasar.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Denpasar Police, AKP I Ketut Sukadi, said that the cause of death of the victim was still being investigated.

The victim was found dead. Evacuation took a long time because the condition of the discovery of the body at the bottom of the cliff was steep," he said.
