JAKARTA - KGPAA Mangkunegara X or familiarly called Gusti Bhre recorded the highest electability in the latest survey of the 2024 Surakarta Regional Head Election (Pilkada) conducted by Solo Raya Polling.

Solo Raya founder Polling Suwardi said the survey showed Gusti Bhre's electability at 49.7 percent, followed by Teguh Prakosa at 37.3 percent.

Meanwhile, in terms of suitability or preference for potential leaders, Gusti Bhre is also still leading with an average of 3.93, then Teguh with an average of 3.91, and followed by Astrid 3.3.

However, in terms of the level of popularity, Teguh still leads with 96 percent, followed by Gusti Bhre 85 percent, and Astrid Widayani 62 percent.

As is known, currently Teguh Prakosa serves as Mayor of Surakarta to replace previously, Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

For the simulation of the candidate pair, his party paired Gusti Bhre-Astrid Widayani with Teguh Prakosa-Her Suprabu who are both PDIP cadres. From the survey, the Bhre-Astrid pair received 54.7 percent and the Teguh Prakosa-Her Suprabu pair received 41.0 percent.

Meanwhile, in the second simulation, he paired Gusti Bhre-Sugeng Riyanto who is a PKS politician and the second pair, Teguh Prakosa-Her Suprabu.

"We paired Gusti Bhre with Sugeng Riyanto because on his way PKS moved closer to Sumber (referring to Gibran), so it's not PDIP. My assumption is that PKS may want the deputy mayor," he said.

Furthermore, for pair simulations, when viewed from the strength of political parties, he said, the Gusti Bhre-Astrid pair promoted by the Gerindra Party, PSI, PKS, PAN, PKB, and the Golkar Party got 61.5 percent. For the Teguh Prakosa-Her Suprabu pair, PDIP carries 35 percent.

Meanwhile, he said, the survey was the fourth time that was held by the Solo Raya Polling.

"This is the fourth survey to explore the possibility of a candidate for Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Surakarta 2024. We conducted a survey on July 28-5 August. About one week my team jumped in Solo," he said.

The number of samples involved is still the same as the previous surveys, namely 735 which are distributed at 105 survey locations.

"Each survey location point, respondents or samples are seven. The number of samples of 735 meets at least 5 percent margin of error criteria, at a significance level of 95 percent, and a high level of density," he said.
