A house fire in a densely populated area occurred at Jalan Pisangan Baru III RT06/RW10, Matraman District at around 4:50 a.m., Thursday, March 25. This fire occurred in a 5-door rented building.
"The death toll is 10 people," said Head of the Ops Sub-dept Of East Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Damkar) Gatot Sulaeman told reporters.
It is suspected that the cause of the fire which killed 10 people was due to a short circuit.
