10 Puskesmas Officers In Lebak Positive For COVID-19

LEBAK - A total of 10 officers from the Parungsari Community Health Center in Lebak Regency, Banten, tested positive for COVID-19. Health services at the puskesmas have been temporarily closed to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

"The closure of health services for three days from March 22 to 24, 2021, will transfer health service activities to the Binuangeun Community Health Center," said Head of the Lebak Regency Health Service (Dinkes) Triatno Supiyono quoted by Antara, Wednesday, March 24.

The regulation on the closure of health services is in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

So far, he said, the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic in Lebak Regency was relatively good so that it has now become a yellow zone.

Where the yellow zone shows the level of the spread of COVID-19 is quite low compared to other areas in Banten Province.

"We appreciate the efforts of all parties to control corona, so that this area becomes a yellow zone," continued Triatno.

Meanwhile, Head of Puskesmas Parungsari, Lebak Regency Hendi Sukmaraharja, said that after 10 health workers tested positive for COVID-19, all puskesmas rooms were sterilized by spraying disinfectant liquid.

"We will reopen the service on March 25, 2021," he said.
