Acting Governor Of North Sumatra Says PP Ormas Can Be A Volunteer For PON And 2024 Pilkada

Acting Governor of North Sumatra Agus Fatoni invites all elements of society, including the Pancasila Youth Community Organization (Ormas) (PP) to be actively involved in the success of the XXI2024 National Sports Week (PON) and the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada).

"This year there are two activities that we need to support and succeed together, first North Sumatra to host PON XXI and the Regional Head Election Regent/Mayor and Governor. I invite the role of PP cadres to jointly make the two big agendas a success," said Agus Fatoni, after attending the inauguration of the North Sumatra Regional Leadership Council (MPW) for the period 2024-2027, as quoted from Antara, Sunday, August 11.

According to him, Pemuda Pancasila is an organization that is calculated at the national and regional levels, especially in North Sumatra. The involvement of cadres led by Japto Soerjosoemarno was able to increase support for the success of the two national agendas.

He added that Pancasila Youth Cadres could be directly involved in the 2024 PON by becoming volunteers provided by the local committee.

Meanwhile, for the 2024 Pilkada, the organization chaired by Musa Rajekshah in North Sumatra can intensify socialization from the district/city level to the village or village level.

"PP cadres can become PON volunteers, they can participate in socializing the implementation of the Pilkada, inviting families, neighbors to exercise their right to vote, this is an opportunity once every five years," he said.

On that occasion, the former Acting Governor of South Sumatra (Sumsel) said that preparations for the 2024 PON in North Sumatra were being promoted.

Currently, he continued, preparations for the 2024 PON in North Sumatra for the entire have reached 85 percent. Meanwhile, for special preparation, namely the construction of the North Sumatra Main Stadium, it reached 83 percent

He explained that the preparations to be accelerated include arenas, accommodation, transportation, equipment, and all fields needed at the national sporting event.

For this reason, he invited all elements of society in the region to pray for the implementation of the national sporting event to run smoothly and successfully.

"I hope that the Pancasila Youth under the leadership of Musa Rajekshah can work together in government program programs," he said.

Musa Rajekshah said this inauguration was a momentum to provide benefits for the community and government, including the success of PON and 2024 Pilkada.

"This inauguration is not an euphoria of cadres and administrators, but is more usable for the community, we present MSMEs, sports, arts and youth activities with the aim that people can mingle with Pancasila Youth," said Ijeck, his nickname.
