DKI Adds 12 Samsat Outlets, Residents Can Pay Taxes While Shopping At This Mall

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government together with Polda Metro Jaya added 12 Samsat outlets at a number of Jakarta malls. That way, residents can pay taxes while shopping.

Tax payment services at the 12 new Samsat outlets are spread across ITC Cempaka Mas, Grand Indonesia, Blok M Square, Gandaria City, Mall Metro Kebayoran, ITC Kuningan, Pluit Village, Pagi Mangga Dua Market, Koja Trade Mall, Taman Palem Mall, Lindeteves Trade Center Glodok, and Cililitan Wholesale Center.

As a regional development bank (BPD) that facilitates local tax payments, Bank DKI seeks to make it easier for DKI Jakarta residents to pay their obligations.

"Bank DKI is ready to support the provision of tax payment services by presenting trained service officers and excellent banking infrastructure," said Bank DKI President Director Agus H. Widodo in his statement, Friday, August 9.

He continued, this step is part of Bank DKI's ongoing efforts to facilitate non-cash transactions for payment of motor vehicle taxes using Bank DKI e-Channel services.

"Like JakOne Mobile, Cash Management System, and EDC Bank DKI," he added.

Meanwhile, Bank DKI Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi hopes that the opening of this additional Samsat outlet can facilitate tax payments for taxpayers, which further encourages the optimization of regional revenue revenues.

"It is hoped that the benefits of paying taxes can be even more felt in realizing the improvement of Jakarta City development," said Arie.
