Looking At The Sleman Pilkada, PKS Puts Recommendations To Kustini Sri Purnomo

The riddle of who will be carried out by the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) in the 2024 Sleman Pilkada has now appeared. PKS has given a letter of recommendation to Kustini Sri Purnomo as the Regent Candidate (Bacabup) for the 2024-2029 period.

The news was confirmed by the Chairman of the PKS Sleman DPD, Indra Gumilar. He admitted that he had received an original copy of the letter.

"Yes, that's right (recommend letter) from the PKS DPP. I have also received the original copy," said Indra, Thursday, August 8.

The recommendation letter was issued by the PKS DPP number 629.15.4.A/SKEP/DPP-PKS/2024 which was signed by PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu and PKS Secretary General Aboe Bakar Alhabsyi.

Indra said the recommendation letter had not yet mentioned the candidate pair because there was no name to accompany Kustini.

However, when there is already the name of the candidate for deputy regent, PKS will later follow a complete recommendation letter to threaten the names of the candidates for regent and deputy regent.

"Yes, we hope that there will be a decision (deputy) soon. Because the recommendation letter that applies to the KPU is complete with a cawabup," said Indra.

The election of Kustini, said Indra, was inseparable from the various achievements that the first female regent in Sleman managed.

Even though he has only led for 3 years, Kustini is considered capable of leading Sleman and deserves another chance.

"Of course there are several notes, and Kustini's mother and PKS are already MoU for improvement for the good and progress of the Sleman community," explained Kustini.

Indra added that with the decrease in the recommendation letter, PKS already has a commitment to the lower level to win Kustini in the upcoming election.

"Of course we will continue to carry out internal consolidation to strengthen the structure and win the Pilkada tomorrow," concluded Indra.
