Golkar Prepares Six To Seven Cawagub Names To Accompany Dedi Mulyadi In West Java Gubernatorial Election

JAKARTA - The Golkar Party has prepared six to seven names of candidates for deputy governor (cawagub) candidates to accompany Dedi Mulyadi in the 2024 West Java Pilkada.

For information, the West Java cawagub was indeed the authority of Golkar after the party chaired by Airlangga Hartarto agreed that Gerindra politician, Dedi Mulyadi, would become a candidate for governor in the West Java gubernatorial election.

"Yes, yes, there has been an agreement in KIM (Indonesian Coalition Esia Maju) because we are carrying Mr. Dedi Mulyadi, and friends at KIM have also agreed that the cawagub is from a Golkar Party cadre," said the Deputy of the Golkar Party, Ahmad Doli Kurnia, Thursday, August 8.

According to Doli, Golkar has many cadres who are suitable to accompany Dedi Mulyadi. The names, he said, would be proposed in a KIM meeting.

"We have many cadres, there are six or seven cadres that we now exercise, then we will communicate with Mr. Dedi Mulyadi and of course we will also communicate with the political parties that carry it later. So that later the agreement will be unanimous together," said Doli.

One of these names, said Doli, is the wife of the former Governor of West Java, Atalia Praratya. Then there is also the Head of the Java I Regional Election Winning Division, MQ Iswara.

"One of them is Mr. Iswara. Yes, including (Atalia, ed) he is a Golkar cadre. There are six or seven names," he concluded.
