Hundreds Of Thousand Islands Residents Receive KAJ Social Assistance, KLJ And KPDJ June 2024

JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government has again distributed social assistance to meet basic needs (PKD) to residents, namely Jakarta Children's Card (KAJ), Jakarta Elderly Card (KLJ), and Jakarta Disability Card (KPDJ) until the June 2024 period. This time, social assistance was given to hundreds of residents of the Thousand Islands.

The distribution of social assistance funds is carried out through distribution to Bank DKI ATMs which are held on Pramuka Island, Thousand Islands. President Director of Bank DKI Agus H. Widodo said that his party also provides education to the public about how to use cards and is expected to help beneficiaries to maximize the use of the assistance provided.

"The distribution of KAJ, KPDJ, and KLJ is a tangible form of Bank DKI's commitment to ensure that all levels of society, including those in the archipelago, get the same access to these programs," Agus said in his statement, Thursday, August 8.

The number of recipients distributed on Pulau Seribu this time was 221 recipients, consisting of 56 KAJ recipients, 148 KLJ recipients, and 17 KPDJ recipients.

Bank DKI has the Pramuka Island Sub-Branch Office which is ready to serve transaction needs as well as products and services for people in the Thousand Islands region.

In addition, Bank DKI ATM services are also spread across 12 locations on various islands in the Thousand Islands area, some of which are on Pramuka Island, Panggang Island, Tidung Island, Sebira Island, and Harapan Island.

"Bank DKI is trying to ensure that every level of society, including the Thousand Islands community, can feel the benefits and conveniences of various banking services," said Bank DKI Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi.

Previously, the DKI Provincial Government distributed social assistance cards for the period June 2024 to beneficiaries carried out in stages in several areas of Jakarta from 23 to 31 July 2024.

The distribution of PKD social assistance in the Central Jakarta area was distributed to 1,346 KAJ recipients, 5 KPDJ recipients, and 5 KLJ recipients, as well as the West Jakarta area distributed 830 KAJ recipients, 5 KLJ recipients and 5 KPDJ recipients.

Until the June 2024 period, the distribution of Social Assistance for Fulfilling Basic Needs (PKD) in 2 stages, namely Phase I distributed to 52,135 KLJ recipients, 6,475 KPDJ recipients, and 4,800 KAJ, Phase II distributed to 90,743 KLJ recipients, 11,099 KPDJ recipients, 8,807 KAJ recipients.
