Regarding PKB Vs PBNU Conflict, Jazilul Fawaid: When Ormas Intervention Of Political Parties, That Means Grabbing

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Jazilul Fawaid again talked about the conflict between his party and the Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Executive Board which is heating up. According to him, there is no relationship between PKB and PBNU because both are regulated by different laws.

"Actually, it's not a dispute, it just wants to sit down the problem, that PKB and PBNU have no relationship at all. So one is regulated by the law of political parties, one is regulated by the law of mass organizations," said Jazilul, Wednesday, August 7.

Jazilul also quipped about the Special Committee formed by PBNU. According to him, if a mass organization forms a team to intervene in political parties (political parties), then this action is a form of grabbing.

In fact, it is an act that is against the law and the constitution.

"When mass organizations form a team that intervenes in the authority of political parties, that means grabbing. That means an act against the law, it means an action against the constitution," said the Deputy Speaker of the MPR.

Jazilul asked PBNU to provide an open explanation to the community regarding the formation of the special committee, along with its basis.

"That is what must be explained to the public so that each of them respects each other," concluded Jazilul.
