Geological Agency Says There Are 362 Locations Of Potential Geothermal In Indonesia

JAKARTA - The Geological Agency of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) said, Indonesia has 362 locations of geothermal potential located in various regions. Nurhadi revealed that the 61 locations that have been explored, while Indonesia also has 18 Geothermal Power Plants (PLTP) managed by the government and the private sector. Nurhadi added that his party is committed to continuing to explore to find the existence or potential of geothermal so that Indonesia's target of achieving net zero emissions (NZE) in 2060 can be met.
