Former Deputy Chairperson Sues To Administrative Court, Head of PBB Bappilu Will Face It

JAKARTA - Head of Election Winning Agency (Bappilu) of the Bulan Bintang Party (PBB) Novi Hariyadi responded to the steps of the PBB Rescue Team to sue the Decree (SK) of the Minister of Law and Human Rights (Menkumham) regarding the decision on the new management structure to the Jakarta State Administrative Court (PTUN).

According to him, the lawsuit will be faced to the end. PBB cadres are also asked not to worry.

"We respect it and of course we will face it. I appeal to all PBB cadres in Indonesia, not to worry about these legal efforts, and to entrust the PBB DPP to resolve this problem properly," said Novi Hariyadi in his statement, Wednesday, August 7.

In addition, cadres are also asked to remain focused on preparations for the 2024 Regional Head Elections (Pilkada). The goal is to oversee the victory throughout Indonesia.

"Stay focused on facing the 2024 Pilkada and strengthen the structure for the sake of winning the 2024 Pilkada," he said.

Not only that, Novi also highlighted the statement of former PBB Deputy Chairperson Fuad Zakaria who said that under Yusril Ihza Mahendra's leadership, PBB continued to fail in the legislative elections.

Then, the new management led by Acting General Chairperson Fahri Bachmid was also said to have no political experience.

In fact, Fuad was considered to have started "attacking" Fahri Bachmid by calling him a new kid on the political side.

"I actually want to ask back, what has Fuad done so far at PBB??" asked Novi.

"What does he know about Prof. Yusril's struggle for PBB, until PBB still exists in Indonesian politics," he continued.

Novi assessed that it was Fuad who did not have much experience in the world of politics. So, there is no need to compare or feel superior.

"There is no need to compare him with the seniors who are currently administrators under Fahri Bachmid's leadership, compared to me, Mr. Fuad's political experience is nothing, my advice is, Mr. Fuad should reflect," said Novi.

Meanwhile, Fuad Zakaria and several other parties sued the Minister of Law and Human Rights' Decree regarding the new management of the PBB DPP to the State Administrative Court (PTUN).

In the lawsuit, there are two objects of dispute, namely the Minister of Law and Human Rights Decree Number M.HH-04.AH.11.02 of 2024 concerning the Ratification of the Composition and Personnel of the PBB DPP.

Then, the Minister of Law and Human Rights Decree Number M.HH-02.AH.11.03 of 2024 concerning the Ratification of the PBB AD/ART.
