Golkar Will Prepare The Best Cadres To Accompany Dedi Mulayadi In The West Java Regional Head Election

JAKARTA - The Golkar Party has agreed to carry the former Regent of Purwakarta as well as Gerindra politician, Dedi Mulyadi as a candidate for governor of West Java. Later, Golkar will determine the name of the candidate for deputy governor (cawagub) accompanying Demul.

The chairman of the West Java Golkar DPD, Ace Hasan Syadzily revealed the reason why his party wanted to 'go down to class' to take the position of cawagub. Whereas previously, Golkar was said to be again nominating Ridwan Kamil as West Java Cagub.

"Yes, it has become part of the agreement. So because of that, of course I as chairman of Golkar West Java certainly accept whatever orders from the party," Ace told reporters, Tuesday, August 6.

When asked whether the name of the chairman of the Java I Regional Election for the Golkar Party, Agun Gunandjar Sudarsa, who will run as the cawagub of Demul's companion, Ace, emphasized that it would be determined after party officials discussed it with the General Chair, Airlangga Hartarto.

"Later, the party will decide. Later, together with the general chairman, we will discuss it," said Ace.

"Yes, hopefully as soon as possible," continued the West Java electoral district legislator.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Karya Group Party (Golkar) Airlangga Hartarto said that his party did not turn right after carrying the former Regent of Purwakarta for two terms, Dedi Mulyadi, running to become a candidate for Governor of West Java (Jabar) in the 202 Pilkada.

"Not turning right," said Airlangga briefly at the Jakarta Presidential Palace, Monday, August 5.
