JAKARTA - The Anti-Corruption Society Alliance (Almasi) has urged the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to examine the Minister of Religion (Menag) Yaqut Cholil Qoumas and his deputy, Saiful Rahmat Badmintonku. There are allegations of a corruption practice related to the 2024 hajj quota.

"The KPK will immediately examine and arrest the Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas and Deputy Minister of Religion Saiful Rahmat Mikhku considering that the Hajj Question Committee is also currently rolling in the DPR RI," Andi said in his oration.
"The chaotic implementation of the 2024 Hajj pilgrimage, especially the alleged corruption of the Hajj quota, makes us concerned," he continued.
