JAKARTA - Chairman of the DKI Jakarta PKS Regional Leadership Council (DPW) Khoirudin admitted that the determination of the candidate for Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta to be paired with Anies in the 2024 Pilkada is still dynamic.

Meanwhile, previously PKS firmly wanted to pair Anies with the Deputy Chairperson of the PKS Syuro Council Sohibul Iman.

"Everything is dynamic. The candidate for deputy governor is still dynamic. As long as the registration at the KPU is not yet registered, it is still dynamic," said Khoirudin at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building, Monday, July 29.

Khoirudin realized that the PKS seat acquisition in the DKI Jakarta DPRD in the 2024 Legislative Election was not enough to carry its own cagub-cawagub without a coalition.

Therefore, until now PKS is still building communication with the party that will also carry Anies in the Jakarta gubernatorial election. Mainly with PKB and NasDem.

"We are communicating with parties. For the nation, for Jakarta, what is not open?" he said.

However, the Deputy Chairperson of the DKI Jakarta DPRD admitted that the finalization of the investigation of Anies and his cawagub was the authority of the PKS Central Leadership Council (DPP).

"I am only carrying out the DPP decision. This means that the DPP has the authority to decide whether or not there may be a change. This is all the authority of the DPP," explained Khoirudin.

Previously, the Head of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar admitted that the formation of a coalition of parties carrying a candidate pair for regional head did not always run smoothly.

This was revealed by Cak Imin when responding to the development of PKB investigations in the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election.

Although he did not clearly mention the nomination in Jakarta, Cak Imin admitted that there was an opportunity that the coalition party being built would change if there was no agreement regarding the determination of one of the candidates.

"Everything is still in the process at the Pilkada desk, yes. The development changes every day. Already supported A, suddenly the coalition map changed. Already supporting B, suddenly the representatives are both not suitable. Well, it's all a pilkada problem that I can't convey because the regional election desk can develop," said Cak Imin in Jakarta, Tuesday, July 23.

The Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives also revealed the possibility of a coalition carrying the same governor candidate being disbanded if he did not agree in determining his deputy governor candidate.

"For example, a candidate for governor A for the coalition asked for his deputy, but PKB didn't want to, disband again. That's a lot in both city and provincial districts," said Cak Imin.
