Prabowo Always Represents Jokowi At International Meetings, Gerindra: A Natural Transition Process

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Fadli Zon, responded to Prabowo Subianto, who recently often represented President Joko Widodo in international meetings of state leaders. According to Fadli Zon, this is a natural transition process in order to prepare for the future government.

"Yes, I think it will be very good, yes. Thus, it means a natural transition process, a natural transition occurs," said Fadli Zon, Thursday, July 25.

The chairman of the DPR's BKSAP assessed that this transition also indicates that Prabowo and Jokowi's communication is very good. According to him, it is good for the Prabowo-Gibran government.

"And I think Pak Prabowo and Pak Jokowi have very good communication and both of them will definitely participate in determining steps in today's times, especially the national leadership relay process later, peaking on October 20, when Mr. Prabowo was inaugurated as president of the Republic of Indonesia," said Fadli.

"So I think that the preparation preparation and delegation of certain things must be based on Pak Jokowi's initiative and of course Prabowo will communicate it," he added.

Previously, Prabowo revealed the ways of President Joko Widodo preparing his successor to lead Indonesia for the next five years.

"I was instructed to represent the President, Mr. Joko Widodo, and in this case what I said was actually notes, points from him," said Prabowo.

"I think the President is training me so that later he will not be too surprised after I was sworn in, God willing," he continued.
