SOLO - Eating free nutritious, which is the program of the President and Vice President-elect Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, has begun to be tested in a number of schools in Solo, Central Java, Thursday, July 25. One of the schools designated as test locations, namely SDN Jagalan Solo. The head of SDN Jagalan Yuni Rahayu Utami said as many as 160 students ranging from first to sixth grade who were given free nutritious food. There are two types of food distributed to students, the first is food with a rice menu, mustard vegetables, chicken meat, fried tempeh, crackers, fruit, and UHT milk. While the second menu, namely rice, broccoli vegetables, chicken katsu equipped with mayones sauce, slices of eggs, lettuce, and fruit. He said the distribution of free nutritious food will last until August 9, 2024. Related to this, he said, SDN Jagalan did not propose to be a location for the free nutritious trial. However, last week the school was visited by GoFood in connection with the program. The menu has been determined by GoFood so that the budget spent is unknown. He hopes that with the program, children will prefer to eat vegetables. "They want food with more complete nutrition. That way, it will be healthier for children, so that it has more impact on their intelligence," he said as quoted by Antara. Previously, the Mayor of Surakarta, Teguh Prakosa, said that there were three schools appointed as locations for the free nutritious trial, namely SDN Tugu, SDN Sabranglor, and SDN Jagalan. He said the activities that were held starting today used a budget from the CSR of the private sector. However, he did not know which companies were involved in providing CSR to the program. According to him, the free nutritious trial will be carried out in two sessions. The first session will be held for two weeks, from July 25 to August 9, 2024.

Meanwhile, the second session will be different schools, but his party has not been able to confirm which schools will be appointed as locations for the free nutritious trial for the second session, including the time of implementation. He said this trial would target all appointed school students.
