Bambang Pacul Provides Legal Assistance To The Mayor Of Semarang, Mbak Ita

JAKARTA - Regarding the name of the Mayor of Semarang, Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu, regarding allegations of corruption within the Semarang City Government (Pemkot), Central Java (Central Java), made the Chairman of the Central Java PDI-P DPD Bambang Wuryanto provide legal assistance to the incumbent candidate.

Even Bambang Pacul, as he is familiarly called, will provide full legal assistance to the mayor of Semarang and her husband, Alwin Basri, who are currently being hit by legal issues.

"That's a legal issue, of course the PDI-P obeys the law, as party cadres we will definitely provide assistance to Mbak Ita or Mas Alwin," he explained, Tuesday, July 23 evening.

Bambang Pacul admitted that the problem faced by Ita, the familiar greeting of the Mayor of Semarang, had a profound impact on the decline in electability ahead of the mayorial election (pilwakot). Moreover, Ita is the incumbent candidate who previously had the highest electability, compared to other candidates. His party asked Ita to remain strong in undergoing the issue that is currently hitting.

"It will definitely have an effect, yesterday's KPK search will be there, but we'll see as time goes on, yes, hopefully we can be careful, stronger," he said.

As is known, currently the KPK is still investigating cases that occur within the Semarang City Government. In addition to the Semarang mayor's office, KPK investigators also searched the offices within the Semarang City Government, including BUMD and the private sector.
