Mas Wali Gibran 'Magic' Gor Indoor Manahan, Menpora Amali: Do Not Be Responsible, Must Be Of International Standards

JAKARTA - The Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Zainudin Amali and the Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, reviewed the construction process of the Manahan Indoor sports hall (gor), Saturday evening, March 20.

On that occasion, Menpora Amali gave his appreciation to the eldest son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) for his neat arrangement.

Menpora Amali took a tour to see the dena to the process of building the audience stands. Mas Wali, the nickname for the people of Solo to Gibran - also gave an explanation of the process of building gor.

"This is good, and the construction must not have to be of international standard. And I see that it does meet international standards," said the Menpora while walking around accompanied by Gibran, as reported by Kemenpora.go.id, Saturday night.

Gibran also explained that there will be six international sports that will be allowed to compete at the Manahan Sports Hall. Among them, futsal, badminton, volleyball, tennis, basketball, martial arts, and football takraw. The GOR model will be like a dome or a circle.

Then, the playing field measures 45x35 meters. The tribune will be equipped with single seat seats with a capacity of about 3,200 seats. "Our construction process is well maintained so that it can be used properly," said Gibran.

Menpora Amali is happy that Solo has good sports facilities. Manahan Stadium which will be used for the opening of the Menpora Cup 2021 tomorrow also has international standards.

"Today I was invited directly by the Mayor of Solo to see several sports facilities in the city of Solo, and the progress was very good. Including I saw how the condition of the Manahan Stadium which will be made for the opening ceremony tomorrow," said Menpora Amali.
