KPK Confiscates 3 Cars Related To Corruption Cases At PT ASDP

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confiscated three cars which were suspected of being related to a corruption case within PT Angkutan Sungai, Danau, and Penambangan (ASDP) Indonesia Ferry (Persero). This forced effort is related to the ongoing investigation.

"This is a case with ASDP and has made forced efforts," said KPK Director of Investigation Asep Guntur Rahayu to reporters quoted on Thursday, July 18.

"There are three cars and others," he continued.

Asep did not elaborate further on this case. He only ensured that the investigation into the alleged corruption at the state-owned company in the water transportation sector would continue.

"This is just an investigation. If we have carried out an investigation, we can make forced efforts," he said.

As for this case, the anti-corruption commission has also summoned witnesses on Wednesday, July 17. Two people were summoned, namely the former VP of Corporate Planning of PT ASDP 2021-2022, Alwi Yusuf and Wing Antariksa who are HR Directors of PT ASDP 2017-2019.

However, KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika has not detailed the examination of the two witnesses. Including their presence or absence.
