Ahok, Deddy Corbuzier, And Nadiem Enter The Proposal For Cagub-Cawagub PSI In The 2024 Jakarta Pilkada

JAKARTA - The Regional Leadership Council (DPW) of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) of DKI Jakarta has received proposals for the names of candidates for Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta to be promoted in the 2024 Pilkada.

The PSI Regional Leadership Council (DPD) at the city/district level recommends 5-6 names each. The name of PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep is included in the proposal of all PSI DPDs in Jakarta.

There are also names that have previously been circulating in the Jakarta cagub-cawagub exchange, starting from the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono, former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil, Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, and former Governor of DKI Jakarta Basuki Tjahaja Purnama.

Unexpectedly, the district/city PSI management in Jakarta also proposed the names of celebrities Deddy Corbuzier, Minister of Education and Technology Nadiem Makarim, and Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir.

Chairman of the DKI Jakarta PSI DPW Elva Farhi Qolbina said the various names proposed showed his party opening up space for various groups to participate in the 2024 DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election.

"We really appreciate the active participation of all PSI administrators and members in each region. This process shows that PSI administrators at the grassroots have freedom of opinion and channel their political aspirations," Elva said in a statement, Tuesday, July 9.

Elva said that the DKI Jakarta PSI DPW will soon hold a plenary session to decide on the final names to be recommended and then send the recommendation to the PSI Central Leadership Council (DPP).

"We will soon hold a plenary session at the DPW level to decide on the final names that will be recommended," explained Elva.

For information, the PSI DPD in Jakarta has completed a plenary session to provide recommendations for the names of candidates for governor and deputy governor who will be promoted in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.

This plenary session involved administrators from the sub-district to the city level, as well as absorbing aspirations from grassroots.

In detail, the South Jakarta DPD proposed names such as August Hamonangan, Eriko Sotarduga, Fahira Idris, Kaesang Pangarep, Nurmansjah Lubis, and Ridwan Kamil.

The Thousand Islands PSI DPD recommended Basuki Hadimuljono, Grace Natalieiela, Heru Budi Hartono, Kaesang Pangarep, and Ridwan Kamil.

In East Jakarta, the proposed names include Ahmad Sajili, H. Azran, Kaesang Pangarep, Luthfi Hakim, Putra Nababan, and Ridwan Kamil.

West Jakarta DPD proposed Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, Deddy Corbuzier, Erick Thohir, Grace Natalieiela, Heru Budi Hartono, and Kaesang Pangarep.

At the Central Jakarta DPD, the names recommended were Fajar Sidik, Heru Budi Hartono, Kaesang Pangarep, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, Ridwan Kamil, and Sandiaga Uno.

Furthermore, the North Jakarta DPD conveyed names such as Grace Natalieie, Heru Budi Hartono, Kaesang Pangarep, Nadiem Makarim, and Ridwan Kamil.
