PKB Promotes Incumbents In Jambi Gubernatorial Election And Golkar-Gerindra Cadres In East Kalimantan

PKB has officially issued a recommendation for prospective pairs of regional head candidates in two provinces and two districts/PHOTOs: Diah Ayu-VOI

JAKARTA - PKB has officially issued a recommendation for prospective pairs of candidates for regional heads in two provinces and two districts.

"This recommendation is the last one, because the UKK (feasibility and proper test) has been completed," said Head of the PKB Pilkada Decree Abdul Halim Iskandar at the PKB DPP office, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, July 2.

The recommendations were given to Al Haris and Abullah Sani to return to the Jambi gubernatorial election. Al Haris and Sani are incumbents who serve as Governors-Deputy Governor of Jambi for the period 2021-2024.

Then, recommendations were also given to Rudy Mas'ud and Seno Aji as candidates for Governor and Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan. Rudy is a cadre of the Golkar Party, while Seno is a Gerindra cadre.

Furthermore, PKB issued recommendations to Benjamin Thomas Noach and Agustinus Lekwardai Kilikily as candidates for Regent-Deputy Regent of Southwest Maluku.

Another recommendation was given to Erwin Octavian and Jonaidi as candidates for the Regent-Deputy Regent of Seluma.

So far, as many as 3,213 candidates for regional heads (cakada) have participated in the UKK at the PKB Pilkada Decree. Meanwhile, 216 candidates will have received phase one recommendations. Then, 47 candidates have received recommendations for the final stage of the investigation.

"In the future, we will continue (issue recommendations). For example, North Sumatra, then West Java, Aceh, this also continues to process, conduct cross-party communication, and continues to be investigated. In principle, everything recommended by PKB is to win," explained Halim.

On the one hand, Halim explained that PKB will provide assistance to the cakada bkala which has been given a recommendation for the investigation.

"Even for regions where PKB is not the bearer, but supporting, PKB will also provide assistance. Because all regional heads supported by PKB are targeted to win. That is the task of Desk Pilkada," he added.
