Mayor Of Gibran Attends Musda V PAN, Asks To Be Escorted Until Someone Shouts 'Tomorrow, Governor'

JAKARTA - Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka also attended Musda V of the Solo National Mandate Party (PAN) which was held at the Sahid Jaya Hotel, Wednesday, March 17. PAN is one of Gibran's supporting parties when he is advancing in the Pilkada with Teguh Prakosa.

On that occasion, Gibran expressed his gratitude for being accepted by the PAN family. The moment when Gibran said this, some cadres shouted loudly "tomorrow the governor, tomorrow the governor."

Gibran also remained calm and resumed his speech. He thanked him because PAN is loyal to oversee the running of the regional government.

"Thank you for escorting me so far and in the future I am still being guarded, sir, really," said Gibran as quoted from the Youtube video for the Surakarta news, Wednesday, March 17.

Gibran realized that his government was still very young and needed the support of his supporting parties. For Solo, Gibran confirmed that the COVID vaccination program will continue.

"We have vaccinated several markets, Pasar Klewer, Pasar Gede. We want productive places, where the economy in Solo is more active. I hope the economic recovery will take place quickly in Solo," he explained.

For future plans, Gibran confirmed that vaccination also targets lecturers to teaching staff. Because in July, Solo will start a face-to-face school.

"I know that society is very difficult, I am sure we will immediately rise," explained the eldest son of President Jokowi.
