NasDem Will Determine Cagub Jakarta At The End Of August

General treasurer of the NasDem Party Ahmad Sahroni said the figure who ran in the Jakarta Pilkada was still dynamic. The general chairman of NasDem Surya Paloh will only make a decision around August.

"Later, the General Chair will choose who. Well, that's what we don't know the general chairman's mind choosing who will be," Sahroni told reporters at the State Defense Academy, Jakarta, Sunday, June 23.

Sahroni said Surya Paloh was still considering the three names offered by the Jakarta NasDem Party DPW. Discussions also continue.

For information, the DPW of the NasDem Jakarta Party has submitted the names of former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, General Treasurer of the NasDem Party Ahmad Sahroni, and Chairman of the DPW NasDem Jakarta Party Wibi Andrino to the Chairman of the Bappilu NasDem Party Prananda Paloh. The handover was held on June 5.

"It's still being discussed until August 27. It's very dynamic," he said.

"And anyone can be governor, anyone can be deputy governor of NasDem," continued the Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR RI.

Meanwhile, regarding the name Anies Baswedan, who was starting to be looked at by PDIP, Sahroni didn't want to talk much. "Good, good," he said.

"Everyone who looks for the good of Jakarta, for the good of all parties and maybe if PDIP joins, for example, together with the next authorities, to carry someone is cooler," concluded Sahroni.
