Jhoni Allen Fired, Founder Of Democrats: Don't Be Sued Like PKS Fahri Hamzah

JAKARTA - The founder of the Democratic Party, Ilal Ferhard, gave his support to Jhoni Allen Marbun who attended the meeting as a member of the DPR (Parliament), even though he was fired by Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) from the party.

In addition to the dismissal, the Democrat Party under the leadership of AHY also made an interim replacement (PAW) of the secretary-general Democratic Party of the Deli Serdang KLB version. PAW could not be done because Jhony filed a lawsuit with the PTUN.

Ilal assessed that Jhoni's dismissal as a cadre of a political party had nothing to do with dismissing him as a member of the council. This is because, he said, the Parliament has its own rules for dismissing members of the legislature.

"So, I have to explain first, the issue of PAW and DPR members. Whether Jhoni Allen or anyone else, there is no correlation with the KLB (Democrat dismissed, ed)", said Ilal when contacted by VOI, Tuesday, March 16.

"If there is one thing that happens, such as the dismissal of a political party member, it will be dismissed as a member of the political party, (fired from) the Democrat. But it does not become the entrance to PAW in the DPR RI", he continued.

According to him, the Jhoni Allen case is similar to the case that happened to the former PKS politician, Fahri Hamzah. Where at that time Fahri was dismissed as a PKS cadre but still served as deputy chairman of the Indonesian Parliament.

"This is the same incident as Fahri in PKS. Kan wanted to be fired at PAW and replaced as deputy chairman of the DPR RI", said Ilal.

However, he continued, Fahri could not be dismissed as a member of the DPR because there were provisions in the MD3 Law. Where, he said, DPR members quit when they died, resigned, and were found guilty of crimes.

"But, he doesn't have an entrance to PAW. His entrance in PAW is involved in corruption, crime, death, etc. There is the MD3 Law", said Ilal.

"So, in the end, Fahri Hamzah filed a lawsuit against the PTUN and it was won that the political party, PKS, paid Fahri Hamzah IDR 45 billion. Until now, he has not been paid. In fact, PKS has changed the logo to an orange color", he said again.

So, said Ilal, Jhoni Allen could serve as a member of the DPR. If Jhoni wins the lawsuit at the PTUN then the Democrats will be in the same boat as PKS.

"So don't let it happen like that. Don't just play with dismissals. Don't just ask Jhoni Allen as Secretary-General of the KLB Democrats not to enter (DPR meeting, red)", he explained.

Ilal emphasized that Jhoni Allen Marbun was still legally a member of the North Sumatra electoral district who served in Commission V of the Indonesian Parliament.

"He is still a member of the council. He will remain a member of the council until his term of office ends in 2024", said Ilal emphasized.

Previously, Jhonny Allen Marbun was seen attending the House Commission V Working Meeting with the Ministry of Transportation, Tuesday, March 16.

The presence of the Secretary-General of the Democratic Party, according to the KLB Sibolangit version, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, became the center of attention of the members of Commission V of the DPR who were present. Especially Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) 's subordinates, Irwan Fecho.

The AHY faction's Democrat Wasekjen then questioned Jhoni's whereabouts at the meeting. "What about the leadership", said Irwan, greeted by laughter from the other members of the House of Representatives Commission V.

For information, Jhoni Allen Marbun asked the DPR leadership not to follow up on his interim replacement (PAW) process as a member of the council. This is because Jhoni is still making legal proceedings against his dismissal as a Democratic cadre.

"That's the rules of the DPR", said Jhoni in Menteng, March 11.

Jhoni sued his dismissal at the Central Jakarta District Court. He said the Central Jakarta District Court had issued a trial agenda.

"On March 17 or 18 (session. red) first", he said.
