JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo invites the public to commemorate Eid al-Adha with the spirit of tolerance and unity.

This was conveyed by Sigit through his official Instagram account @listyosigitprabowo by uploading an animated video containing symbols of sacrifice such as cows, goats, people who are cutting sacrificial meat.

In the video, there are also members of the National Police who are sharing sacrificial meat. Then there is also the writing Happy Eid al-Adha 10 Zulhijah 1445 H.

"Let's together commemorate the sacrificial holiday with the spirit of tolerance and unity to maintain complete diversity," said Sigit, Monday, June 17.

In addition, Sigit also wrote that Eid al-Adha was a momentum to commemorate the events when Prophet Ibrahim AS was willing to sacrifice his son Prophet Ismail AS as a form of compliance with Allah Swt.

The total precision sacrificial animals were 8,583 consisting of 5,209 cows and 3,374 goats.

"This amount is the participation of all parties held at the National Police Headquarters 628 (611 cows and 17 goats), as well as a region of 7,955 (4,598 cows and 3,357 goats)," said Anwar. Anwar thanked the National Police Chief for donating 470 sacrificial cows., as well as the National Police Headquarters sacrificial committee, as many as 43 and 427 heads were handed over to the mako and all pesantren in Indonesia. "We also report that the distribution of Precision Kurban in the form of meat that has been cut is distributed to the poor, orphans, Islamic boarding schools and mosques and Polri dormitories, as well as the community," he added. Anwar added, It is hoped that the benefits of this Precision Police Kurban can be felt directly by the people in need.
