Menkumham Yasonna Laoly Cuts Sacrificial Cows At Salemba Detention Center

JAKARTA - Hundreds of Correctional Inmates (WBP) of Class 1 State Detention Centers in Central Jakarta or Salemba Detention Centers who are Muslim ukhu in undergoing Eid al-Adha 2024 prayers in the Salemba Detention Center field on Monday, June 17, morning.

From observations at the location, inmates or inmates were observed to be very enthusiastic about carrying out prayer services on Eid al-Adha. Hundreds of inmates also lined up and performed Eid prayers together.

After the implementation of the Eid prayer, the activities of the Salemba Rutan officers together with the inmates were also followed by the slaughter of cattle types of sacrificial animals donated by the Minister of Law and Yasonna Laoly to the Class 1 Detention Center of Central Jakarta or the Salemba Detention Center.

"After the implementation of the Eid prayer, it was followed by the slaughter of sacrificial animals from the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Yasonna H Laoly who had donated 1 cow to carry out the implementation of his sacrifice at the Class 1 Detention Center in Central Jakarta," said Head of the Central Jakarta Class 1 Detention Center, Fauzi Harahap to reporters, Monday, June 17.

Fauzi said that all residents of the Central Jakarta Class 1 Detention Center or Salemba Detention Center who are currently in the Class 1 Detention Center of Central Jakarta would like to thank the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia, Yasonna H Laoly.

"Hopefully you will be given health with your family and given success, happiness always," he said.

Please note, celebrating Eid al-Adha in 2024, the Salemba Rutan received the assistance and support of sacrificial animals as many as 16 cows and 9 goats. This year, there are 3 additional sacrificial animals of the type of cattle and goats.

"Today we will distribute the meat of the sacrificial animal to all our inmates in the Class 1 detention center of Central Jakarta without exception. Then to the prayer room according to their happiness, the environment outside the Central Jakarta 1st class detention center and several orphanages," he said.
