Gerindra Distributes Hundreds Of Cows For Eid Al-Adha Sacrifice, Muzani: Hopefully Blessings

JAKARTA - The Gerindra Party distributed 145 cows and five goats to several areas in Jabodetabek and Banten during Eid al-Adha 2024 or 1445 Hijri. Secretary General of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani said this activity is routinely carried out every year.

"This is an annual activity carried out by Pak Prabowo Subianto (as general chairman, ed) and the Gerindra Party distributing sacrificial animals to the community as a form of gratitude to Allah," Muzani said as quoted from his written statement, Monday, June 17.

Muzani detailed that 89 cows had been sent to be accepted by ulama, habib, Islamic mass organizations, Islamic boarding schools to the Mosque Prosperity Council. Then there were 38 cows that were distributed to the community around Prabowo's residence in Hambalang, West Java.

Finally, there were also 20 cows and five goats prepared to be slaughtered and distributed to the community around the Gerindra Party DPP Office. "The distribution of hundreds of sacrificial animals is also a form of gratitude from Pak Prabowo for the implementation of the 2024 election which has run smoothly without any significant obstacles," he said.

"That's why the Gerindra Party expresses its gratitude to all Indonesian people for participating and Mr. Prabowo being elected president for the 2024-2029 period," continued Muzani.

Furthermore, Muzani hopes that the distribution of sacrificial animals can bring blessings to the recipients. So, the community can enjoy the moment of Eid al-Adha with their families.

"Hopefully the distribution of this sacrificial animal can give blessings to recipients and local residents to be able to enjoy the meat of the sacrificial animal from Pak Prabowo," he said.

Furthermore, Muzani emphasized that Pak Prabowo's distribution of sacrificial animals will continue to be carried out every year. "God willing, Pak Prabowo will continue to distribute sacrificial animals every year," concluded Muzani.
