Muhaimin Iskandar Asks Hajj Pilgrims To Pray For The Indonesian Nation During Wukuf

JAKARTA - Muhaimin Iskandar as the Head of the Indonesian House of Representatives' Hajj Supervisory Team (Timwas) directly monitors Hajj pilgrims in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. He monitors from transportation to mixing for Hajj pilgrims.

The deputy chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives invited pilgrims to pray for the good of the Indonesian people when carrying out wukuf in Arafah, which is the peak of the pilgrimage.

"Pray for our nation," said the man who is familiarly called Gus Muhaimin, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, June 15.

Gus Muhaimin also congratulated all pilgrims who will start the peak of the pilgrimage. He emphasized the opportunity to worship as well as possible should be utilized as much as possible.

"Today we enter the first peak of the hajj. Let's use it for worship as well as possible and as much as possible," he said.

In addition, he also appealed to pilgrims to maintain health during worship. According to him, adequate rest time is needed to maintain stamina.
