DPRD Chairperson Called Anies Responsible For The Procurement Of Land For Sarana Jaya, Which Is Suspected Of Corruption

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta DPRD Chairman Prasetyo Edi Marsudi assessed that DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan could not be independent of the proposal for land acquisition for Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya.

Prasetyo said that Anies was responsible for the approval of the land budget, including the land for the Rp0 DP house which was allegedly corrupted by Sarana Jaya's inactive CEO, Yoory C. Pinontoan.

"The governor is responsible. The governor knows, really. That's why I said earlier in the meeting with Sarana Jaya, how come the Deputy Governor of DKI cannot answer and does not understand the problem of the zero rupiah DP program?" said Prasetyo at the DPRD DKI building, Monday, March 15.

As Chairman of the DKI Budget Agency, Prasetyo admitted that he only authorized the land acquisition budget for Sarana Jaya. Initially, the proposal was submitted by DKI Governor Anies Baswedan as an executive.

Meanwhile, budget discussions are in the DKI regional government budget team (TPAD) and the DPRD Banggar. Then, Prasetyo was said to have played a major role in the realization of this problematic budgeting.

"The ratification is in the hands of the BUMD, the executive. It is not just myself who carried out it. That was also the (submission) for the 2018 budget. The chairman of the commission was not me. For information, the Corruption Eradication Commission has confirmed that it is currently investigating the alleged corruption case in the purchase of land for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's DP 0 Rupiah Program by DKI Jakarta BUMDs.

Shortly afterwards, Anies Baswedan dismissed Yoory C. Pinontoan from the position of President Director of Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya.

"The governor at that time immediately made a decision to deactivate the person concerned. In this case, Yoory will follow the legal process by adhering to the presumption of innocence," said the Acting Head of BP BUMD for DKI Jakarta Province, Riyadi.
