East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) confiscated Risky D Kase (30) assets, a suspect in a corruption case in the implementation of government rice reserves (CBP) at Perum Bulog Waingapu, East Sumba Regency. The confiscated assets were land, houses, cars and motorbikes in Bandung.
Risky D Kase is the Assistant Manager of SCPP Perum Bulog Waingapu Branch who was named the second suspect. Previously, in this case, the former leader of Bulog Waingapu named Zulkarnaen had the same status and was detained at the Kupang Detention Center.
"The person concerned has been absent from the investigator's summons three times to be examined as a witness in the case, so the investigative team found out his whereabouts and found him in Bali," said Head of the General Information Section of the NTT Prosecutor's Office, AA Raka Putra Dharmana in Kupang, Wednesday, June 12, as reported by Antara.
Risky D Kase became a suspect after undergoing an examination in the Bali High Prosecutor's Special Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) after being arrested in the area. Now the suspect in the corruption cases for the 2023 and 2024 fiscal years which cost the state Rp10.7 billion is being held at the Kerobokan Bali Prison temporarily before being transferred to the Kupang Detention Center.
The determination of the suspect against Risky D Kase is also based on tracking financial transactions on the bank account concerned by the NTT Prosecutor's Office investigating team. As a result, investigators found that there were unreasonable financial transactions with a value of billions of rupiah.
