The National Police Asks For Additional Budget Ceiling Of IDR 60 Trillion To Build Polsek

JAKARTA - The National Police has proposed an additional budget ceiling for the 2025 period of IDR 60.64 trillion. Its designation is to build a police headquarters at the Polsek level to the construction of other facilities. The request for additional budget ceiling was submitted by the Deputy Chief of Police, Komjen Agus Andrianto, in a meeting with Commission III of the DPR RI. "For this reason, according to the letter of the National Police Chief No. B/7641/VII/REN2.3/2024 dated June 4, 2024, the proposal for an additional budget for the National Police in the context of determining the National Police Budget for the 2025 fiscal year, the National Police proposed an additional pure rupiah source budget from the determination of the 2025 budget ceiling of 60.64 T,” Agus said in a meeting at the Indonesian Parliament, Tuesday, June 11. It is detailed that the addition of the budget ceiling is intended for personnel expenditures of Rp4.98 percent. Later, as a large amount, it will be devoted to the salaries and performance allowances of new Polri members. Then, for operational and non-operational goods expenditures, additional budget for PNBP source goods and additional BLU source expenditure budgets of IDR 11.68 trillion. There are also those that will be used as a source of capital expenditure for the National Police, such as the fulfillment of Special Materials (Almatsus), the addition of SPKT at the Polres level, the improvement of the Police Service Room (RPK) amounting to Rp43.97 trillion. Then for the construction of the Mako Polres Border Sub-Sector, construction of the Mako Polsek, construction of Satpas and BPKB, improvement of Sarpras Hospitals, and construction of Polri facilities and construction. Then, it is intended to fulfill the Satpas in the field of Defense and Security which does not include the almatsus, renovation of buildings and office construction, as well as the completion of 14 procurement plans sourced on foreign loans.

"So if the additional proposal for the 2025 FY budget ceiling is approved, the total budget ceiling for the 2025 FY will be IDR 165.31 T with details of personnel expenditures of IDR 64.43 T, goods expenditures of IDR 45.75 T, and capital expenditures of IDR 55.13 T," said Agus.
