Bogor City Government Budgets IDR 48 Billion For The 2024 Pilwalkot

Bogor Mayor, Hery Antasari said that he had budgeted Rp 48 billion for the 2024 Bogor Mayor and Deputy Mayor Election (Pilwalkot). The disbursement of the budget from the Bogor City Budget was divided into two stages, namely the first term of Rp 19.2 billion and the second term of Rp 28.8 billion.

170 days before the Regional Head Election, the General Election Commission (KPU) of Bogor City launched its mascot and hope at the SKI Katulampa Women's Building, Sunday, June 9.

The Bogor City Government (Pemkot) is firmly committed to supporting the implementation of regional elections to be optimal, as well as being ready to provide active support, such as budget support and others.

The implementation of the Bogor City Pilkada is a means of democracy in choosing the leader of the City of Bogor. One of the main indicators of the success of the implementation of the Pilkada is the level of voter participation.

"We hope that voter participation in the implementation of the Bogor City Election this year can reach 90 percent. This number is higher when compared to voter participation in the 2019 Election which is only 85.15 percent," said the Acting (Pj) Mayor of Bogor, Hery Antasari during the launch event.

Hery also shared data that young voters from Gen Z and millennials will dominate voters in this simultaneous regional elections. This can be seen from young voters during the 2024 election yesterday.

"Of the number of DPT (Recent Voter List) as many as 800,181 people, around 52 percent are young voters with details, 10 percent are novice voters and 42 percent are voters from generation Z and millennials. Therefore, I hope that we can all ensure the validity of voter data so that Generation Z, who is the first voter in the simultaneous regional elections, is guaranteed the right to vote," explained Hery.

Meanwhile, the funds that have been disbursed amounted to Rp 48 billion, with details of term 1 Rp 19.2 billion and term 2 Rp 28.8 billion.

Di tempat yang sama, Ketua KPU Kota Bogor, Habibi Zaenal menjelaskan, KPU telah melakukan serangkaian proses tahapan Pilkada. Salah satunya pembentukan badan adhoc di enam kecamatan dan 68 kelurahan beserta kesecretariatannya.
