JAKARTA - PT Bank Permata Tbk (PermataBank) stated that one of its employees was positive for the corona virus (COVID-19). This is the third case, after previously Bank BNI and CIMB Niaga reported the same thing.

PermataBank Head of Corporate Affairs Richele Maramis confirmed that its employees have been exposed to the corona virus. Currently, the person concerned is under the care of the medical team and is being monitored by management.

"These employees work at PermataBank's head office in the WTC II building, Sudirman, where they work in the back office unit daily and do not deal directly with customers," he said, when confirmed, in Jakarta, Friday, March 20.

Richele said that all Bank Permata offices located in WTC II have been closed and sprayed with disinfectant. In addition, contact tracing is also being carried out.

"PermataBank's COVID-19 Command Center has conducted contact tracing with colleagues, family at home, or places where contact is possible," he said.

Previously, on March 17, PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BNI) announced that one of its employees was positive for the corona virus or COVID-19. BNI Corporate Secretary Meiliana revealed that currently the condition concerned is stable.

In their daily lives, Meiliana said, these employees work in units that are not directly related to the community or the back office. So that the potential for transmission to the community can be minimized.
