JAKARTA - The Gorontalo Province Inspectorate conducted an audit of licensing services at the Gorontalo Province Information and Statistics Communications Office (Kominfotik).

Technical Controller of the Performance Audit Team for Service and Licensing of the Inspectorate Ellen explained that the audit will be carried out for the issuance of permits during 2022 and 2023. It was recorded that 2,315 permits were issued by regional apparatus organizations (OPD) during that period.

"This audit is to ensure that the permit recommendations issued are appropriate and the SOP or not. In addition to future improvements, audits are also to support the increase in MCP evaluation (monitoring center for prevention)," said Ellen, Thursday, June 7, quoted by Antara.

The audit, he said, would be carried out for one month by taking a sample of 30 percent of the total permit recommendations issued. He hopes that all relevant OPDs prepare the documents needed for audit purposes.

"Especially regarding the flow of permits or SOPs. Hopefully this can go well," he said.

Head of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics and Statistics Office, Rifli Katili, welcomed the presence of the audit team. He said there was one permit recommendation that came out for telecommunications, broadcasting and electronic transactions.

"Earlier, the team brought the recapitulation issued by the PTSP Service, there was one recommendation for a permit with the Kominfotic Service, namely in January 2022. We still have to check this again with other agencies because Kominfo affairs are also at the Loka Monitor as technical agencies of the Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia," explained Rifli.

A number of OPDs have the most license recommendations, including DLHK administration with 1315 permits in 2023 and 60 permits in 2022. There are 371 permits for fisheries and marine affairs in 2023 and 534 permits for 2022 and 249 permits for industry in 2023 and 446 permits for 2022.
