JAKARTA - The Selection Committee for Candidates for Leadership and Supervisory Board of the Corruption Eradication Commission (Pansel KPK) opens registration of candidates for leadership and supervisory board of the KPK from June 26 to July 15, 2024.

This was conveyed by the Chairman of the KPK Pansel Yusuf Ateh in a press statement at the Ministry of State Secretariat, Jakarta, Friday, May 31.

"The selection committee invites Indonesian citizens to register as candidates for leadership and the KPK Supervisory Board for the 2024 '2029 term," said Yusuf Ateh as quoted by ANTARA.

Yusuf explained that the tenure of the KPK leadership and Supervisory Board will end until December 20, 2024.

As the implementation of Law Number 30 of 2002 concerning the Corruption Eradication Commission, as has been amended several times and finally with Law Number 19 of 2019, the Selection Committee for Candidates for Leaders and Supervisory Board of the KPK for the Term of Office in 2024 2029 based on Presidential Decree Number 63/P of 2024 dated May 30, 2024.

Previously reported, the membership composition of the KPK Pansel consisted of 9 people, namely Muhammad Yusuf Ateh (chairman of concurrent members), Arif Satria (vice chairman concurrent members), and seven members of Ivan Yustiavandana, Nawal Nely, Ahmad Erani Yustika, Y. Ambeg Paramarta, Elwi Danil, Rezki Sri Wibowo, and Taufik Rachman.

The selection committee has a number of tasks, namely announcing the acceptance of Candidates for Leadership and Supervisory Board of the Corruption Eradication Commission.

Furthermore, registering Candidates for Leadership and Supervisory Board of the Corruption Eradication Commission.

Lalu mengumumkan nama Calon Pimpinan dan Dewan Pengawas Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi di laman resmi Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi untuk mendapatkan tanggapan masyarakat.

The Pansel then determined the names of the Candidates for the Leadership and Supervisory Board of the Corruption Eradication Commission as many as twice the number of leaders and the Supervisory Board of the Corruption Eradication Commission to be submitted to the President of the Republic of Indonesia.

The Pansel also carried out other tasks related to the implementation of the selection of Candidates for Leadership and Supervisory Board of the Corruption Eradication Commission.

According to Yusuf Ateh, the announcement of the registration of the 2024 2029 KPK Leadership Candidate and Supervisory Board was published on print media, electronic media, the official website of the Corruption Eradication Commission.go.id and the official website of the Ministry of State Secretariatneg.go.id from 4 to 25 June 2024, while registration will start from 26 June to 15 July 2024.
