PAN Waits For Gerindra Communication To 'Jodokan' Budisatrio With Zita Anjani In The Jakarta Gubernatorial Election

JAKARTA - The National Mandate Party (PAN) welcomes the proposal of the Daily Chairperson of the Gerindra DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, who paired Budisatrio Djiwandono and Kaesang Pangarep for the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election.

However, PAN wants Prabowo Subianto's party to match Budisatrio with his champion, Zita Anjani as the vice governor of Jakarta 2024.

"We welcome the offer from Bang Dasco Gerindra. It also adds to our choices for DKI which in the future can be better," said PAN Deputy Chairman Yandri Susanto when contacted, Thursday, May 30.

"But until now Gerindra has not conveyed that meaning directly to PAN, not yet. Meanwhile, PAN has a champion Zita Anjani, right," he continued.

Yandri emphasized that PAN still proposed Zita Anjani to be the cawagub. Therefore, PAN is waiting for Gerindra's communication to'match' Prabowo Subianto's nephew with Zulkifli Hasan's daughter.

"Yes (stay good at Zita, ed), and we are waiting for communication with Gerindra, what if it continues," said Yandri.

However, PAN does not rule out the possibility that it must sit down with coalition political parties first in choosing the best cagub and cawagub for the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.

"Yes, that's why we need to sit down together first, which one is the best for Jakarta. There must be a meeting point. We have a candidate, Gerindra has a candidate, what about others? That needs to be discussed first," said Yandri.
