The public prosecutor (JPU) of the East Aceh District Attorney's Office demanded two defendants selling skin and body parts of the Sumatran tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae).

Public Prosecutor Risky Rosiwa said the charges were read out at the trial at the Idi District Court, East Aceh Regency, the two defendants were father and son.

Regarding the evidence, the Public Prosecutor demanded evidence in the form of a complete piece of skin, confiscated Sumatran tiger bones and skulls for the state and handed over to the Aceh Natural Resources Conservation Center (BKSDA).

"Meanwhile, other evidence in the form of a black Toyota Avanza minibus with no complete documents such as STNK was confiscated for destruction," said the Public Prosecutor.

After hearing the prosecutor's demands, the Panel of Judges, Dikdik Haryadi, continued the trial on Wednesday (5/6) with an agenda for reading the verdict.
