KPK Confirms Report That Dragged Jampidus Febrie Ardiansyah Was Responded To According To Procedures

JAKARTA - The interim chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Nawawi Pomolango said reports of alleged corruption that dragged the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Ardiansyah would be followed up. This process will definitely be in accordance with the procedure.

"All incoming reports or complaints will certainly be addressed with standard procedures," Nawawi said when confirmed by reporters, Monday, May 27.

He ensured that reports made by the Civil Coalition to Save Mines (KSST) would not be privileged. Nawawi said, this complaint would be followed up first by conducting a study.

"This review process aims to prove the truth and find a criminal element," said Nawawi. "Moreover, there was a review from the team of the Directorate of Public Complaints," he said.

Previously reported, the Civil Coalition to Save Mines (KSST) reported Jampidsus Febrie Ardiansyah to the KPK. He is suspected of carrying out fraudulent practices related to the auction of mining assets belonging to PT Gunung Bara Utama by the Attorney General's Office.

"We from KSST have reported a public complaint that there are indications of alleged corruption," Ronal Lobloly told reporters at the KPK's Red and White House, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Monday, May 27.

"The reported Attorney General Jampidsus then assessed whose assets were PPPA of the Attorney General's Office as well as from DJKN or the Directorate General of State Assets and others," he continued.

Ronal said that the KSST reported to the KPK because it believed that the act related to the asset auction had harmed state finances. The value reaches trillions of rupiah.

"There is a state loss to the stock assets. That the value is not in accordance with the losses that have occurred to the state. So we estimate that the loss is IDR 11 trillion but auctioned and then only IDR 1.9 trillion means that there is an indication of a loss of IDR 9 trillion," he explained.

As for this report, KSST brought the evidence that had been submitted to the KPK. However, Ronal did not want to elaborate further.
