Water Processing Installation Work Project, Traffic Engineering Transportation Agency In Srengseng Sawah

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency carried out traffic engineering in the Srengseng Sawah area in connection with the construction of a water treatment distribution system. Traffic engineering is carried out on Jalan Srengseng Sawah, Jalan Desa Putera and on Jalan Moch Kahfi II.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, said that the overall work will be carried out from May to September 2024. This includes preparation, excavation, drilling of pipes, connecting and returning conditions.

"To support this work, traffic engineering will be carried out according to job preparation," said Syafrin in his statement, Wednesday, May 22.

Syafrin explained that traffic engineering in Srengseng Sawah for the next few months will be carried out by narrowing or reducing the traffic lane along the work area.

Because, during the work, contractors built hundreds of pits or excavations with dimensions of 150x80 centimeters.

"The work is carried out according to the conditions/after peak hours in the morning and evening," said Syafrin.

Syafein emphasized that PT Djasipa Mitra Perkasa and PT Tarabunga Jaya Teknik as the executor of the construction of the water treatment installation distribution system are fully responsible for the safety and security of road users at the construction site.

"Road users are advised to avoid these roads and be able to adjust the traffic arrangements set, comply with traffic signs, instructions from officers in the field and prioritize road safety," he added.
