Subang Farmers Deceived Hundreds Of Millions Of Police Entry Mode, Polda Metro: 2 Of The Three Perpetrators Have Been Fired

JAKARTA - A farmer from Subang, Carlim Sumarlin, became a victim of fraud in the mode of passing the police selection of Rp598 million. Polda Metro Jaya said that two of the three perpetrators were no longer part of the Bhayangkara Corps.

The fraud case occurred around 2016. Carlim Sumarlin serbitkan uang ratusan juta kepada para pelaku agar anak perempuannya menjadi polisi.

"There were three (perpetrators)," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi, Tuesday, May 21.

The three perpetrators had the initials AS, YFN, and HP. They did become part of the National Police. However, because of the violations committed, two of them were dishonorably fired or PTDH.

"We explain that this US brother has been at PTDH, in 2004 and is related to the drug case of US relatives," he said.

"Then this YFN sister has also been at PTDH in 2017," continued Ade.

YFN's violation was to make fake secret telegrams and news. This action severely tarnished the National Police institution.

Meanwhile, for one other perpetrator, he is still a member of the National Police. However, HP is said to be undergoing a code of ethics process that will determine his fate as a member of the Bhayangkara Corps.

"This cellphone sister is still in the process of violating the alleged professional code of ethics by the Ditpropam Polda Metro Jaya," said Ade.

On the other hand, Ade appealed to the public to immediately report if asked for some money related to the process of receiving police officers.

Because, at the recruitment of members of the Bhayangkara Corps, not a penny was requested.

"If someone claims to be a committee, offers to enter the police at a certain cost, please report it," said Ade.
