Did Anies Know About Rp 0 House Land Procurement? Deputy Governor Riza: We Don't Know The Technicalities

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, admitted that he and the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan did not know anything about the technical matters of land acquisition for the Rp 0 DP House, including those suspected of being corrupted by his men.

"We, the Governor, I and those ranks do not enter the technical area," said Riza at the City Hall of DKI, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, March 10.

Riza said, regional heads make general policies. Regarding land acquisition for this no down payment (DP) program, he instructed the Public Housing and Settlement Areas and Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya to determine its location.

"It's impossible for the governor-vice governor to take care of the technicalities. Large policies take time, let alone enter the technical area. That is the duty of the service and the service clan," explained Riza.

Previously reported, the KPK confirmed that it was conducting an investigation into the alleged corruption case of land purchase for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's Rp 0 DP Program by DKI Jakarta BUMDs.

After that, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, who had heard this news since Friday, March 5, immediately deactivated Yoory Pinontoan from the position of President Director of Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya.

"The governor at that time immediately made a decision to deactivate the person concerned. In this case, Yoory will follow the legal process by adhering to the presumption of innocence," said the Acting Head of BP BUMD for DKI Jakarta Province, Riyadi.

Regarding the decision made by Anies, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said that his party did this to give Yoory Corneles Pinontoan an opportunity to defend himself in his legal case.

Riza wants to apply the presumption of innocence and give Yoory the opportunity to reveal information with the existing facts and data. Riza also respects the investigation into the alleged corruption case being investigated by the KPK.

Today, the KPK investigated six witnesses regarding the corruption case in land acquisition in Munjul, Pondok Ranggon Village, Cipayung, East Jakarta.

Those examined were Fransiska Sri Kustini CB or Sr. Franka CB who is the Economist Treasurer of the Congregation for the CB Sisters of the Province of Indonesia; Manager of Procurement Services Unit for Perumda Pembangunan Sarama Jaya 2017 to October 2020 Rachmat Taufik; and a land broker, Minan bin Mamad.

Meanwhile, the three additional witnesses are Indra, Wahyu, and Yadhi who are employees of Perumda Sarana Jaya.
