Edhy Prabowo's Conversation Stops Customs Investigation Revealed At The Session

JAKARTA - The KPK public prosecutor (JPU) revealed a conversation showing the former Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Edhy Prabowo agreeing to terminate the investigation by the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (BC) against PT Aero Citra Kargo (ACK).

This was revealed in a WhatsApp conversation between Edhy Prabowo's personal secretary named Amiril Mukminin and Edhy Prabowo's special staff named Safri who was featured in a trial at the Jakarta Corruption Court (Tipikor), reported by Antara, Wednesday, March 10.

Amiril became a witness for the defendant Director of PT Dua Putera Perkasa Pratama (PT DPPP) Suharjito who was charged with giving bribes worth a total of Rp2,146 billion consisting of 103,000 US dollars (around Rp1.44 billion) and Rp706,055,440.00 to the former Minister of Maritime Affairs and Edhy Prabowo's fisheries.

"I think it is related to the failed ACK information to send," replied Amiril.

"Don't think it was you who sent it," said the judge emphasized.

The indictment stated that PT ACK was used by Amiril Mukminin on Edhy Prabowo's order to become a cargo shipping service company for the export of clear lobster seeds (BBL).

The delivery has been carried out since April 2020. The composition of PT ACK's shareholders, namely Achmad Bachtiar as the representative of Edhy Prabowo through Amiril Mukminin, received dividends of 41.65 percent, Yudi Surya Atmaja as a representation of Siswadi Pranoto Loe at 16.7 percent, and Amri at 41.65. percent.

PT ACK's Finance Department named Nini in the period July-November 2020 once a month distributes money received from PT DPPP and other lobster seed exporting companies to PT ACK shareholders as if as dividends, namely to Achmad Bachtian worth IDR 12,312 billion , to Amri with a value of Rp. 12,312 billion, and to Yudi Surya Atmaja of Rp. 5, 047 billion.

The money from the operational costs was then managed by Amiril Mukminin with the knowledge of Edhy Prabowo, then to buy a number of items at the request of Edhy Prabowo.
