CIANJUR - The police arrested a factory employee named Asep Nandang for stealing 12,000 bra hooks from the factory where he worked. The perpetrator wants to open his own bra production house.

"The perpetrator was caught red-handed when he wanted to bring out 10 packages of bra hooks, each containing 1,200 bra hooks from the warehouse owned by the company where he worked. Security immediately reported this to the Sukaluyu Police Headquarters," said Sukaluyu Police Chief AKP Anaga, in Cianjur, Wednesday, March 10.

The arrest of the perpetrator began with the suspicion of factory security officers who checked all employees every hour from work. The officer saw the perpetrator's vehicle suddenly turning the vehicle around.

Seeing these signs, the security officers immediately approached the perpetrator's vehicle and immediately carried out a search. Inside the car were found 10 packages of bra hook straps valued at tens of millions of rupiah.

"The perpetrator is charged under Article 362 of the Criminal Code with the threat of a sentence of 5 years in prison, and currently the perpetrator is still undergoing examination and the files will soon be transferred to the Cianjur District Prosecutor's Office for immediate trial," said AKP Anaga as quoted by Antara.

Asep admitted that he deliberately stole from the factory where he worked to open his own convection business. Asep was tempted to see his neighbor who had successfully opened the business, so he thought of stealing the bra hook, which is hard to come by in the market.

"I plan to open my own bra convection business, seeing that my neighbors are successful with this business. The products are planned to be sold in traditional markets in Cianjur," said Asep.
