Cecar KPK Has Not Arrested Harun Masiku For 14 Months, PAN Legislator: Is He Still Alive?

JAKARTA - Member of Commission III DPR RI from the PAN faction Syarifudin Suding questioned the whereabouts of a fugitive, Harun Masiku, who until now has not been arrested by the KPK at a hearing (RDP) at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, March 10.

Suding previously mentioned Asabri's megaskandal, which is estimated to have cost the state more than IDR 23 trillion, is also related to the corruption of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya.

"The perpetrators are almost the same, have there been coordination and supervision because the state's losses were quite large there. There is a strong suspicion that large companies have not received a maximum response. So I remind you about supervision," said Suding.

Suding then again questioned the perpetrators of corruption who were still being hunted by the KPK and had been designated as a wanted list (DPO). One of them is Harun Masiku.

"There are still 7 DPOs, 3 people have been arrested from 10 DPOs. According to allegations by the KPK, HM (Harun Masiku.red) still has NKRI? Is still alive or where is it sir ?," said Suding.

Suding also questioned the reason why the KPK has not been able to arrest the PDIP politician who has been on the run for 14 months.

"We know the background of this HM. Is there a big power behind it ?," he said.

Apart from Suding, PKS faction member Adang Darajatun also questioned the existence and continuation of the PDIP politician's legal process, Harun Masiku.

"Please explain this Sir (Firli.red)," said Adang briefly.

It is known that the KPK has arrested a fugitive in connection with the bribery case of former secretary of the Nurhadi Supreme Court, Hiendra Soenjoto, in the BSD area, South Tangerang.

With the arrest of Hiendra Soenjoto, there are now five KPK DPOs who are still around. Namely the suspect in the BLBI case, the husband and wife couple Sjamsul and Itjih Nursalim, the suspect in the gratification case with the inactive Aceh Governor Irwandi Yusuf, Izil Azhar.

The suspect in the alleged bribery case related to the Coal Mining Concession Work Agreement (PKP2B) contract at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Samin Tan, as well as former PDIP Perjuangan candidate Harun Masiku.

Harun Masiku is the longest fugitive from the five KPK DPO lists. The suspect in the interim bribery case (PAW) of the DPR has not been caught since he was declared a DPO.
