Child Kills Mother Kandung In Sukabumi, Land Substation Stuck In Neck

SUKABUMI - The Sukabumi Regency Police, West Java, arrested a young man with the initials Ra alias Herang(26), a resident of Cilandak Village, Sukabumi Regency, who had the heart to kill his biological mother, known as Inas (44) by using a fork.

"The case of the child killing the biological mother that occurred in RT 15/04, Sekarsari Village, Kalibunder District occurred at around 04.15 WIB today," said Kalibunder Police Chief IptuTaufik Hadian, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 14.

According to information gathered from the police, the case of the murder committed by Ra against his biological mother was first noticed by the victim's relative or the first witness to the perpetrator's arrival on Tuesday morning.

At that time, Ra gave Rp330 thousand and asked the first witness known as Pahrudin to kill himself, but the witness did not heed the request. However, because he continued to ask to be killed, finally Pahrudin visited his neighbor, Isra (second witness) to ask for help calm Ra.

Pahrudin and Isra, whose house was not far away, became suspicious and finally came to the victim's house which was not far from their house. He was surprised when the two witnesses saw Inas was already in a state of death and his neck was stuck in a fork in the ground.

Seeing this incident, the witness then contacted members of Koramil 2213/Jampangkulon, the Kalibunder Police and the Civil Service Police Unit of Kalibunder District. Not long after, security officers arrived at the scene to arrest the suspect.

During the arrest, Ra did not fight back and confessed his actions to the officers. The suspect was immediately taken to the Kalibunder Police Headquarters for questioning.

"The house that was the location of the murder was indeed occupied by the victim and the suspect, at the time of the incident no one knew. When it was found it was suspected that the victim had been dead for five hours," he added.

Taufik said that the Sukabumi Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) and the suspect had taken over to the Sukabumi Police Headquarters in Palabuhanratu, Sukabumi Regency.

The motive for the suspect's murder of his biological mother is still being investigated. However, there are allegations that the suspect is a person with a mental disorder (ODGJ) and often goes berserk.
