28 Artifacts Of The Legacy Of The Prophet Muhammad SAW Exhibited In Ambon

AMBON - A total of 28 artifacts left by the Prophet Muhammad SAW were exhibited at the Al-Mulk Festival which was held at the Pattimura University Auditorium (Unpatti) Ambon City. The exhibition, which was held by the Nahdlatul Ulama Da'wah Institute (LDNU) Ambon City and the Kuttab Zein Musthafa Islamic Boarding School, was held for 12 days from 13-24 May 2024. "These artifacts are not intentional to be exhibited in Maluku. I am sure that Ambon City was chosen by the Prophet to be visited," said Ambon City LDNU person Kuttab Zein Musthafa Ustaz Muhammad Isaac Almahmudy in Ambon, as reported by Antara, Monday, May 13. In addition to the relics of the Prophet, there are also relics of the companions of the Prophet who were exhibited at the festival. The residues included the Prophet SAW's urban wet, the hair of the Prophet SAW, the beard of the Prophet SAW, the blood of the Prophet SAW's defenders, the sweat extract of the Prophet SAW, the bow of the Prophet's bow, the replica of the Utsmani war dress, Khalid bin Walid's sword and others. He admitted that the main goal of this exhibition was to restore people's love to real idols, idols who should be loved and followed. "Because nowadays many idolize other famous artists or public figures. We come with the relics of the Prophet Muhammad so that the love for the Prophet SAW can grow again," he said. He hopes that from this artifact exhibition, humanity in Maluku can get blessings. “ And this exhibition is not only for Muslims. Anyone who wants to come to see it is allowed and may get blessings from the Prophet,” explained Isaac. Meanwhile, Acting Governor of Maluku Sadli le appreciated and welcomed the exhibition activities of the Prophet Muhammad's legacy. “We express our gratitude. We are grateful to Allah and the ustaz for bringing this Rasul artifact to Ambon and temporarily deposited in my house, "” he said.

He also appealed to the public to make this festival a success by maintaining unity in Maluku. “ God willing, this festival can run smoothly and can be known to the whole community, because this is also an education so that we all return to remember the struggle of the Prophet,” said Sadli.
