32 Victims Of Deadly Bus Accident In Subang Taken To 3 Hospitals In Depok

JAKARTA - As many as 32 people were injured as a result of the Lingga Kencana Depok Vocational School tour bus accident in Subang were taken to several hospitals in Depok City, West Java (West Java). Previously, the victims were treated at the Subang Regional General Hospital (RSUD).

Deputy Mayor (Walkot) Depok Imam Budi Hartono said the hospitals that treated the injured victims of the accident included Bhayangkara Brimob Kelapa Dua Hospital, University of Indonesia Hospital, and Depok City Hospital.

"There were 32 injuries reported, they were treated at the nearest health center. But we have taken over at a hospital in Depok City," said Imam in Depok, Sunday, May 12, as reported by Antara.

He explained that the injured victims who were taken to the hospital in Depok were minor injuries. In addition, there are also victims who need special facilities that are not available at the Subang Hospital.

"The condition of minor injuries was taken home. Then, the facilities there were still inadequate, so we helped evacuate to UI Hospital, Brimob, and Depok City Hospital," he said.

Imam said that there were still victims being treated at Subang Hospital because they needed special action, so they could not return to Depok City.

"We will continue to monitor it because an action must be taken. When it is finished, we will immediately take it back to a hospital in Depok City," he explained.

The Information Section of the Social Welfare Foundation (YKS) Dian Murfaridah said that in the school separation activity there were 157 people who left using three buses. With details, 28 teachers and 122 students.

A total of 11 people died, one of them was a teacher. A total of 32 people were injured. We continue to communicate with the families of the victims," he said.

Previously, it was suspected that due to the failed brake, a tourism bus carrying a group of SMK students from Depok, West Java had an accident on the Ciater derivative road, Subang, Saturday (11/5/2024) at around 18.45 WIB. A total of 11 people were reported dead, including a motorcyclist.
