Gerindra Lures Warteg Business Profits From Prabowo's Free Lunch Program

JAKARTA - Secretary-General of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani lured law stall business players (warteg) to also benefit from Prabowo Subianto's free lunch program in the future government.

This was conveyed by Muzani at the halalbihalal event of the Greater Family Association in Jabodetabek at Nusantara IV Building, Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta.

"Hopefully, among the many promises made in the President's campaign, such as free lunch, free drinking of milk for students and students, hopefully the Hagal stall can splash," said Muzani, Sunday, May 12.

During the 2024 presidential election, a number of warteg business actors declared their support for the Prabowo-Gibran Rakabuming Raka pair.

According to Muzani, this support had a significant impact on the victory of the general chairman of Gerindra to become the leader of the country for the period 2024-2029.

"Hopefully the support given by the people of Tegal to Pak Prabowo will ease his steps in undergoing the next government," he said.

After the event, Muzani admitted that the lure of warteg businesses could also profit from the new free lunch program, only the proposal that would be submitted to Prabowo.

Because, according to him, warteg has become the mainstay of residents to eat with a variety of and nutritious menu dishes at affordable prices.

"Warteg is a profession that daily engages in food buyers, to the public, even in the form of trade transactions. The food is fast, the price is affordable," said Muzani.

"Maybe it could be one of the options that can be made. But that's more of a spontaneity of my opinion," he continued.
