Anies's Sweet Promise At The Rp0 DP House Which Was Smeared By His Subordinates Over The Alleged Corruption Case

The quote above is the statement made by the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan regarding his campaign promise to provide housing facilities without down payment (DP) with the DP IDR 0 program. He said this when he was still a candidate for DKI Governor, during the 2017 DKI Regional Election public debate.

Unfortunately, Anies's promise regarding the dream of residents to own a house is tarnished due to the alleged corruption case committed by his subordinates. Namely Yoory Corneles Pinontoan, who was named a suspect by the KPK in his position as Director of Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya.

The KPK named Yoory Corneles Pinontoan a suspect because he was suspected of being involved in the markup for the purchase of land for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's IDR0 housing down payment program.

On average, they fail to qualify to have a DP House of Rp. 0 because they are stuck in file verification at Bank DKI. Even though the monthly salary has passed the requirements, namely Rp. 4-7 million per month, it turns out that there are other installments that are burdensome. It is feared that the prospective owner will not be able to pay in installments regularly.

Chairman of the PDIP faction at the DPRD DKI, Gembong Warsono, assessed that the housing ownership program for residents who are the mainstay of DKI Governor Anies Baswedan is indeed problematic.

"From the start, the zero DP was problematic. From the start we always said that the zero rupiah DP program was difficult to implement in the field. Why is it difficult?
